First steps to classical guitar mastery
ADAGIO:

Many huge composers found a place in music history thanks to the classical guitar and notwithstanding maestro Andres Segovia and his very own family....Joaquin Rodrigo is an example: his sin was to not dedicate the piece to the Andalusian guitarist.  Segovia never played the Aranjuez concerto. I based this study on the first 10 staffs of the famous Adagio movement of the Aranjuez concerto.

I will only work on the first section of the Adagio...and simply call it "Adagio".

This 10 staffs section will help you improve your scale speed as well as the left and right hand coordination. Improve your barres and increase your stamina.

Analysis:

The opening section, is a long series of chords played in a soft rasgueado style, using the thumb alone. Allow for total relaxation of the left hand between barres.
