Fabulous is the first word that comes to mind when I look for an adjective to describe this one of a kind LATTICE braced cedar top. A Deep, booming sound that simply shines...some of the best basses I ever heard on a Cedar top with an amazingly clear trebles configuration. Hear how the basses make a perfect background in romance and how the melody moves majestically on top. The best mid ranges you can imagine shorten the gap between highs and lows... Marvelous!! Lattice bracing enhances every frequency and the guitar seems to have amplification of some sort...amazing !
I received the set from Rio de Janeiro encapsulated in wax .... gorgeous tight grain and color .... I know it would make for a terrific instrument. I matched it with Western redcedar and used the most delicate and luxurious marquetry to make her look like the queen that she is.
