What a spectacular instrument !! This short phrase sums up all my feelings regarding this superb concert guitar. The sound is unbelievable !
The Set of Brazilian rosewood was shipped from Rio in late March. My supplier insisted that I buy it based on the exceptional tap tone more than on the looks. The grain is tight and uniform, it has the sobriety of a true monarch wood. Bach's Prelude shines and all the voices are in the right place: The bass is deep and has some fabulous overtones, the trebles shine and the mid ranges are ALWAYS in the right place. The bronze linings has been a GREAT IDEA ! They look sensational. So much so, that I will use them more often in the future. The Russian rosette matching the Figure Brazilian rosewood, the violin tie and the macassar ebony armrest and bridge harmonize majestically. The 640mm action makes stopping the notes a lot easier and every passage is rendered so natural. Attention to detail and artistry are present throughout.
