82
years Brazilian rosewood B&S, Lattice Braced Italian spruce top,
640mm, Radius, Armrest,
Violin tie with stress relief... SPECTACULAR !
Giacomo Puccini
was premiering "Turandot," in Milan when this set of Brazilian rosewood
started to air dry. The set was shipped from Cascavel
(rattle snake) a small Brazilian
town a few hundred miles to the east of the Brazil-Paraguay border. The
beauty and matching of the wood is simply
breathtaking. I matched it with
a splendid Italian spruce top and went for the lattice bracing. The most
brilliant type of bracing in my opinion.
The resulting guitar is this masterpiece.
It emanates beauty and artistry from every angle and has a sound to die
for. Deep, meditative when called
for expressiveness and lively and
brilliant when necessary. The rich harmonic palette make the sound exquisite
and rare and the projection and
sustain are unbeatable. We decorated
her using the best marquetry. The violin tie is designed to remove the
huge anchoring tension from the bridge
area and transfer it to a much more
resistant part of the instrument. This way, the top is much more free to
vibrate and generate otherwise
impossible colors and tones. The
armrest, allows the tendons to be presented more naturally and removes
every interference between the forearm
and the top allowing for full vibration
of the top. The 640mm radiused fingerboard makes the playing so much more
natural and flawless.
This is as good as a concert guitar
can get.
