Beauty
is what this spectacular instrument inspires when I look at her from every
angle. A great choice of wood for the back and sides combined with a tremendous
Italian pine make her the perfect playing machine. The set is part of a
batch that was sent to me recently and this particular one, is perfectly
book matched and presents some dramatic figuring. Tap tone and grain are
simply outstanding.
The sound
on this queen is simply breathtaking. Fast response with the most thrilling
basses and clear trebles accompanied by the vastest palette of mid tones
and harmonics you can imagine. A true pleasure to play and extremely hard
to put down once you start playing on her. Notice how the low E (6th string)
sends a powerful/round sound and creates a spectacular sonic background
onto which the melody shines majestically. The accompanying second
and third string fill the gap between the bass and the trebles beautifully.
I decorated
the headstock, bridge and armrest with a set of figured Brazilian rosewood.
