Port Orford Cedar top, Contreras double top, Matte finish
Walnut is what I would call a MACHO wood. It is sturdy, powerful, elegant, sober and delivers right in your face a stunning sound which is led by one of the most spectacular basses you'll ever hear. This particular combination with Port Orford Cedar and a Contreras style double top construction is what I recommend. Still, I can imagine she would be a top performer with Spruce, Cedar and Redwood as well. If you look for a guitar that makes you tremble every time you pluck the bass, this is the guitar for you.
