Aged and Figured Brazilian rosewood B&S, Doble tapa (Contreras style Variation 1),  Alpine spruce top (Second top Canadian Cedar).  Maple bindings, 16" radiused Ebony fingerboard, violin tie, armrest & bridge. Double Soundport in upper  bout,  640mm fret spacing.  Embossed leather case included. CONCERT MASTERPIECE !
Beautiful sound made of the most clear trebles and deepest basses with sustain that you can imagine, is the best way to begin describing this masterpiece. The main voice is always in centersatge. I do not use the rest stroke in Cavatina and I still get the main melody to shine majestically. The double top adds the sustain that allows the notes to stay up at least twice as long as they would on a normal concert guitar. The Cedar top on the other hand, adds a special sweetness that is so typical of the Canadian species. A true jewel box of sound !
I used a 96 years air dried set of Brazilian rosewood from Cascavel (Southern Brazil). The Alpine spruce is from Val' D'Aosta (Northern Italian Alps) and the Cedar is from Western Canada. The blend of these woods always results in the most amazing guitars a player can dream of. I mounted a gorgeous handmade Russian rosette made in Tula (Northern Russia), which resembles a Roman Empire motif. All the marquetry on this beauty (and all Bellucci guitars) is made of tiny pieces of wood of different colors that are bonded in mosaic style patterns and require the work of some of the most skilled woodworkers on the planet. I personally choose and combine the rosette, bindings and marquetry for each single guitar making sure that the sum of all the parts unifies and enhances the finished instrument.
Finally, the radiused 640mm action makes the phrasing in Cavatina smooth and easy and for anyone who ever tried to tackle this beautiful work, will understand what a compliment it is to say that playing those barres is "smooth and easy"... A Concert masterpiece to be proud of.
The double top VARIATION 1, was developed and introduced by  Master Luthier Manuel Contreras the II at the end of the 70s and reached its peak in the 80s. In this Variation of the Double top, a second top (Cedar, Image below) is located halfway between the main top and the back. This top vibrates a fraction of a second after the first one creating an immense sustain and punch.

The hand embossed leather case is a work of art on its own right. Built by one of a handful of very talented leather embossers in Latin America. Its built following my specifications for the interior to fit Bellucci guitars like a glove. All Plush interior, key and accessories compartment. You can request an upgrade to a Cow hive front and back version.

Radiused or flat fingerboard?
radiused
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.
