Igor
is a dear friend and one of my best customers. This amazing Koa Cutaway
is his third Bellucci. We definitely set a new mark with this babe. The
beauty of the grain with some magical reflections added to the innumerable
detailing such as the Flamed Amboina burl used for the Bridge, Violin tie,
Armrest and headstock, coupled with the rampant African Padauk for the
bindings and finally crowned with the most beautiful inlay work imaginable.
I made her a Nomex (Hollow top) Double top. The resonance and clarity that
this babe puts out a few minutes after the lacquering booth is simply AMAZING.
Clear penetrating trebles accompanied by the most striking bass. Natural
vibratos and a sustain seldom seen. Koa is definitely a top wood
and ranks with the very best on the planet. Igor next bellucci will be
a Walnut babe...
