A true JEWEL !
Coyote
is a well known Mexican species although the most striking cuts can only
be found in Paraguay. Will Coyote still is my cartoon IDOL. The
name comes from the resemblance of the grain of the wood to the fur of
wild coyotes. The beauty of the instrument is hard to convey in words.
Pictures get much closer but being right in front of this beauty will definitely
make you go WOW !! She's got an amazing character. The sound flies off
the body at an amazing speed. I can see her performing miracles in the
Flamenco realm as well. The bass is well defined, deep and clear. The trebles
have a freshness and clarity seldom heard. The response to the slightest
right hand movements is immediate and I can see her making every piece
shine majestically. Mixing the different woods to enhance her lines and
beauty was perhaps the most fun part in building this Wild Queen. Playing
her is easy and vibratos are natural and require minimum left hand lateral
movement. She breathes art from every angle. |
