Aged Brazilian rosewood B&S Doble tapa(Contreras style) V1, + LATTICE,  cedar top CUTAWAY Maple bindings, radiused ebony fingerboard, armrest & bridge. 640mm fret spacing.  Double Soundport in upper bout and lower bout, Embossed leather case included.  STUPENDOUS SOUND AND LOOKS !!!
One of the best cutaways you'll ever hear. She's absolutely stunning and her sound will fill your life with joy. I matched the 92 years old Brazilian rosewood from Minas Gerais (Brazil) with  a gorgeous Western redcedar top. I made the bracing lattice to bring out the mid and high frequencies and contrast with the huge sounding basses that the DOBLE TAPA creates inside the body. Playing Albéniz was simply a MARVELOUS experience. The bass line booms majestically while the trebles accompany relentlessly. The whole instrument vibrates generously. The sustain and reverb are simply UNBELIEVABLE. This is one of the best cutaways  EVER built. STUNNING.
I decorated her using every Bellucci artistic mean available. Padauk and Maple for the bindings and marquetry, a gorgeous Russian rosette and ebony for the violin tie, bridge and armrest. The swift 640mm action coupled with the 1/16 radius and the  cutaway will make your playing feel natural, relaxed and easy. You do not want to miss on this fantastic instrument.

The doble tapa VARIATION 1,  Consists of a second cedar top which is placed halfway between the main top and the back. It starts vibrating a fraction of a second later than the first top creating a huge sound and sustain.

Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.  The standard fingerboard is flat.

The hand embossed leather case is a work of art on its own right. Built by one of a handful of very talented leather embossers in Latin America. Its built following my specifications for the interior to fit Bellucci guitars like a glove. All Plush interior, key and accessories compartment. You can request an upgrade to a Cow hive front and back version.

640mm or 650 mm?
Regarding 650mm or 640 mm fingerboard fret spacing, keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm. Adapting from one scale to the other takes no adaptation.
