This amazing beauty possesses the best qualities that a concert guitarists dreams of: A beautiful powerful sound that sends huge waves of sound all around her. A playability that will make you feel like the guitar is working with you in the creation of each musical phrase. A beauty that will make you speechless.
I used a variation on the Hauser brace which incorporates a special underbridge taken by luthier Fritz Mueller and a transversal Ramirez based strut. My very personal input is the blend of woods used in making the fan brace: Spruce, Cedar, Mahogany and Sinker Redwood... just like the blend of tobaccos, this "blend of woods adds a unique "flavor" to the marvelous sound of this masterpiece instrument. As I play the instrument I feel a tremendous bass and a super fast response to the requirements of my right hand. The Bach prelude is exuberant. The action is swift and easy and the slim stylized neck is responsible for this.
The mid ranges, trebles and harmonics are all there making of each musical phrase a poem. He who shall own this masterpiece, will own a true piece if art and a geniality of modern luthery

The following pictures were taken during the construction of this unique guitar

Sinker logs

Sinker logs, are pulled from the bottom of lakes and rivers. Sometimes, scuba divers are needed to achieve the extraction.  Most of these logs are hundreds of years old (In one of the pictures above, you can see that the tree was cut with an hatchet). Due to a series of factors (The logs were too big and heavy to be pulled out of the rivers or the logs were caught by currents and were sucked to the bottom)  these logs were trapped by the muddy buttons of these water beds and this created like a time capsule where the wood was preserved in fantastic humidity conditions that made the wood season in a slow natural way during many centuries. Some of the logs are selected for musical instruments construction. The sound that these woods produce is unique and the grain has a beautiful coloration that changes according to the type of mud present in the water bed.
