AMAZING SOUND! MASTERPIECE!
Macassar ebony is one of my favorite species. The figuring it can show is simply unbelievable. The set was shipped from Colombo (Sri Lanka) at the beginning of 2009. The marble like type of flame makes the set DRAMATIC and amazingly beautiful. Macassar delivers a gorgeous quality of basses, it is tremendously stable and has prove to be part of tropical woods Monarchy time over time. I matched her with a beautiful cedar top went for the cutaway and mounted a 4-Band Artec EQ-Digital tuner to make her as versatile an instrument as possible. I used the last of 2 gorgeous French rosette that match all the other woods used in the construction and decorated her to keep your eyes entertained for hours at a time. I made her a doble tapa Contreras and this makes her rank among the best concert cutaways you can find. Big, round basses coupled with the most brilliant and penetrating trebles. Easy to play thanks to my this neck, radiused fingerboard and the 640mm scale... 100% stress free playing. |

| Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard. The standard fingerboard is flat. The hand embossed leather case is a work of art on its own right. Built by one of a handful of very talented leather embossers in Latin America. Its built following my specifications for the interior to fit Bellucci guitars like a glove. All Plush interior, key and accessories compartment. You can request an upgrade to a Cow hive front and back version. 640mm or 650 mm?
