This amazing Cutaway made me go WOW from the first note I played on her. She's absolutely fantastic and in a league of her own. The gorgeous chocolate brown set of Brazilian rosewood from Cascavel Brazil) presented a top notch tap tone that is partially responsible for the amazing sound on this cutaway. The Cedar top complements the sound and the union of the 2 parts is what really generates the amazing sound you'll hear coming from her womb. I melted each part into the other selecting the finest marquetry. Ebony bindings to enhance her curves and produce the armrest that enables the tendons to be presented more naturally while preventing the forearm to interfere with the movement of the top. A sum of amazing artistic details to make her into one of the best cutaways EVER. In Romance, the melody seems to have wings while the accompanying bass line send huge vibrations throughout the player's body. The double soundport was also a great construction idea. These play a fundamental rose in allowing the higher and mid frequencies to fill the room and project the sound magnificently. A true masterpiece guitar.

Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.  The standard fingerboard is flat.

640mm or 650 mm?
Regarding 650mm or 640 mm fingerboard fret spacing, keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm. Adapting from one scale to the other takes no adaptation
