double top, Gabon Ebony bindings, radiused ebony fingerboard, Ebony
armrest & bridge. 640mm fret spacing. CUTAWAY. Embossed leather

Few guitars I have played sing as majestically as this DOBLE TAPA Variation 1 cutaway. Simply Astonishing. The most penetrating vibratos are catapulted out of the sound hole at an amazing speed and the player can express himself fully. Sweet yet robust and penetrating sound are the best adjectives to describe the sound on this doble tapa. Notice how the high E in romance seems to be pushed by an accompanying voice... I can feel the second top pushing the sound like the turbo on a supercharged vehicle... the sound ebbs away at a much slower rate. A dream come true for any player no matter what the level of playing achieved. A fabulous 94 years air dried set from Belo Horizonte (Brazil) makes this babe look sober and elegant and her curves are enhanced by the ebony bindings and the luxury trimming on all her sides. A beautiful Canadian cedar top for the first top and a second one halfway between the first and the back give her a tremendous presence and make a musical statement at every plucking of the right hand. Easy 640mm radiused action to move comfortably around the different position make this guitar rank among the world best. |

| Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard. The standard fingerboard is flat. The hand embossed leather case is a work of art on its own right. Built by one of a handful of very talented leather embossers in Latin America. Its built following my specifications for the interior to fit Bellucci guitars like a glove. All Plush interior, key and accessories compartment. You can request an upgrade to a Cow hive front and back version. 640mm or 650 mm?
