When a concert guitar has a 4th, 5th and 6th strings that send huge vibrations through the room and your body, have a third string that never blushes, and trebles that sing wonderfully, you know you are holding a unique masterpiece and that concert guitars don't get much better than that.... They only get more expensive... This babe is the result of a 92 years air dried dark set of Brazilian rosewood from Cascavel (Rattle Snake, Brazil). I matched it with a superb set of Western Redcedar (commonly known as Cedar) and proceeded to add a second Cedar top halfway between top 1 and top 2 (see iamges). The sustain that this second top produces is simply put MARVELOUS. Every detail was treated with a artistry of the highest possible level to make this a super concert guitar. |

| The doble tapa, was developed
and introduced by Master Luthier Manuel Contreras the II at the end
of the 70s and reached its peak in the 80s. The word "Tapa" in Spanish
translates to top in English but it refers to the back of the instrument.
Therefore, Contreras doble tapa is actually a "Double back".
