Typical of me ! I cannot see a set of flamed Brazilian rosewood and not start to fantasize about the woods matching possibilities for a superb instrument. This was the case with this fabulous, 90 years air dried Brazilian rosewood from Cascavel (Rattle Snake), Brazil, 300 miles from the Paraguayan border with Brazil matched to a Canadian Cedar.
The combination is that Splendid Spanish flavored sound full of harmonics and the most impressive sweetness.
A french rosette matched by luxury marquetry decorate this Lattice braced concert babe.
Barrios' Una Limosna feels so natural and it is hard not to succumb to the amazing basses she produces art every pluck of the right hand. What a beauty !! Amazing is only a descriptive adjective that come to mind when thinking of virtues for this true MASTERPIECE..
