Doble
tapa(Contreras style)+Variation 1, Brazilian rosewood top, Maple

RARE BEAUTY!
After building so many concert guitars I decided to try an "All Brazilian rosewood guitar". The species is by no means a luxury in my part of the world. I have heard "All Koa guitars" and I admit that they sound great. I decided that since I had a gorgeous book matched 94 years aged set for the back but no sides to match it to, the perfect scenario for a MASTERPIECE was set. The communion between the Brazilian rosewood B&S with the Hauser Braced Brazilian rosewood top is hard to describe. A huge sound with an AMAZING punch. You can feel the instrument pumping air abundantly. The sound is dense even from a distance. My son who was in a room near by, told me that the guitar boomed ! This World first all Brazilian rosewood guitar is worth the over 322 hours that were necessary to build her. The Polynesian mother of pearl inlay work alone took over 100 hours to complete. A 1 in a million guitar ! |

| The doble tapa, was developed
and introduced by Master Luthier Manuel Contreras the II at the end
of the 70s and reached its peak in the 80s. The word "Tapa" in Spanish
translates to top in English but it refers to the back of the instrument.
Therefore, Contreras doble tapa is actually a "Double back".
Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The hand embossed leather case is a work of art on its own right. Built by one of a handful of very talented leather embossers in Latin America. Its built following my specifications for the interior to fit Bellucci guitars like a glove. All Plush interior, key and accessories compartment. You can request an upgrade to a Cow hive front and back version. 640mm or 650 mm?
