90 years old Brazilian rosewood B&S, 240 years old Sinker redwood Lattice braced top. 640mm, radius, armrest, violin tie, soundport. AMAZING sound and FABULOUS looks.
The most requested characteristics in a concert guitar are: A big sound with a well balanced sound made of punchy basses and clear trebles. Looks to die for and fall in love with the classical guitar all over again. Well, this babe has all of the above and  a lot more to offer. The Incredibly well book matched B&S have been air drying since the end of WW1, and the Sinker redwood has been encapsulated in a natural aging machine for over 240 years (more on sinker redwood below). The combination of these 2 woods has merged into this one in  a million guitars. She's got a tremendous personality both in sound and looks.  The natural shades of brown from both the Aged Brazilian and the shades of brown/gray from the sinker harmonize like a Monet picture. I selected each part to make her look as fabulous as she sounds. A splendid Russian rosette made in Tula, Russia in sub zero temperatures by some of the most skilled rosette makers on the planet matched with the best looking French marquetry with yellow tones to contrast and bring out the lines of the darker woods.
Triple neck reinforcement made of Walnut and maple act as  a truss rod. Playability is simply phenomenal. I'll never get tired of saying that 640 is the way to go. Add radius and you are working with nature and not against it.
The sound shines majestically. Hear how the Villa Lobos Prelude expresses masterfully. Playing on her is intuitive and even though she's fresh out of the lacquering booth she sounds like a seasoned queen.
I equipped her with the Violin tie because it allows the top to vibrate fully and prolongs the life exponentially. It is simply too intelligent a system not to be considered by a luthier/guitarist. Plus, it looks fabulous. The armrest is also a must. It keeps the tendons better positioned to avoid stress related injuries and allows the top to vibrate fully for mot receiving any interference from the forearm. Finally, I added the soundport to allow the guitar to sing freely in the highest registers and emanate music omni-directionally. I love the soundport because besides it's obvious sound function, it also allows to look at the right hand from beneath, something every guitarist interested in mastering his sound is interested in...
All in all a MUST have guitar.
Sinker logs
Sinker logs like the ones above, are pulled from the bottom of lakes and rivers. Sometimes, scuba divers are needed to achieve the extraction.  Most of these logs are hundreds of years old (In one of the pictures above, you can see that the tree was cut with an hatchet). Due to a series of factors (The logs were too big and heavy to be pulled out of the rivers or the logs were caught by currents and were sucked to the bottom)  these logs were trapped by the muddy buttons of these water beds and this created like a time capsule where the wood was preserved in fantastic humidity conditions that made the wood season in a slow natural way during many centuries. Some of the logs are selected for musical instruments construction. The sound that these woods produce is unique and the grain has a beautiful coloration that changes according to the type of mud present in the water bed.
