Bellucci Indian rosewood
concert guitar:
1943 Hauser blueprints,
640mm, radius
This
babe is built following Hermann Hauser 1943 blueprints. I made some changes
to enhance the projection and augment the response. These changes, that
I call Bellucci phase 3, consist in doming the top to achieve a deeper
sound and use a mixture of woods -spruce-mahogany-cedar and cypress for
the internal strutting. These woods add a special "flavour" to the sound.
Of course I made her 640mm to make her playable by the vast majority of
players possible and I applied a smooth radius to facilitate stopping the
notes with the left hand. The cedar top adds the sweetness to the penetrating
sound generated by the Indian rosewood and the resulting top inflates air
generously sending beautiful vibrations through the player's body. The
voices, low, mid ranges and acutes are very well balanced leaving every
sonic decision in the player's hand.
Luxury marquetry and a Handmade
Russian rosette with roses decorate this gorgeous instrument.
