| My passion for the classical guitar started in Italy in 1968. It has taken me to study with Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes and Abel Carlevaro among other legendary classical guitar players and teachers. Master craft luthiers, low cost of labor and the proximity to the best source of woods at the most competitive prices available, have made it possible for me to come up with great concert class instrument. I incorporate many construction breakthroughs that I have discovered through meticulous and uninterrupted experimentation. I build classical guitars from a player's perspective and rescue the best work of every great luthier that has walked this path before me. A custom concert guitar with these characteristics is sold anywhere between 8,000 to 20,000 US dollars in Europe and the US. Bellucci concert guitars are built using all solid wood exclusively, are 100% hand crafted in Asuncion, Paraguay by the best luthiers in the region and are played in over 83 countries. |

The doble tapa, was developed and introduced by Master Luthier Manuel Contreras the II at the end of the 70s and reached its peak in the 80s. The word "Tapa" in Spanish translates to top in English but it refers to the back of the instrument. Therefore, Contreras doble tapa is actually a "Double back". The lattice is a concept based on the A frame of grand pianos. The back and sides are kept rigid by means of a sturdy A shaped frame and the top is thinned as much as possible to allow the top to vibrate generously. Lattice delivers a lot of volume a tremendous clarity. 640 mm Scale length
