90 years air dried Brazilian rosewood B&S,  Lattice Braced  cedar top Concert Cutaway guitar. 640mm, radiused ebony fingerboard, ebony armrest, violin tie, bridge and bindings. Soundport. Beautiful !! Embossed leather case included. SUPER OFFER !
This Brazilian rosewood Cutaway is one of the most astonishing instruments you'll ever see. Everything on this babe is SPECTACULAR. Beautifully bookmatched B&S from Minas Gerais, Brazil. It has been air drying since the end of WWI ! That's surely puts the age of this cut into perspective. It is really BEAUTIFUL ! The selection of the Russian rosette with the same colors and shades of the Brazilian rosewood back and sides, the Gabon ebony bindings and luxury purflings elevate her to a level of artistry that will leave you breathless. A cutaway to die for is a close representation of this beauty.  The 640mm radiused ebony fingerboard, slim neck and the cutaway make her easy and natural to play! The soundport on the upper bout helps the instrument in putting out the highest frequencies and project omnidirectionally. The sound is tremendously well balanced. Deep round basses coupled with the most brilliant and at the same time sweet trebles and an immense load of mid tones and harmonics will capture you forever. Putting her down will be the hardest thing to do. MASTERPIECE of luthery !

Lattice stretch
640mm or 650 mm
Radius
The lattice is a concept based on the A frame of grand pianos. The back and sides are kept rigid by means of a sturdy A shaped frame and the top is thinned as much as possible to allow the top to vibrate generously. As you see from the picture above, the thinned area is approximately 1.2 mm thick (VS 2-2.5 in the standard thinning techniques). Lattice delivers a lot of volume (approximately 21 dbs more) and wonderfully clear trebles

Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.  The standard fingerboard is flat.

640mm or 650 mm?
Regarding 650mm or 640 mm guitar construction, keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm. Adapting from one scale to the other takes no adaptation
