The finesse and beauty of this queen are simply a dream come true only matched by her heart conquering sound.
This is rich and in harmonics and with an outstanding roundness in the bass only matched in the unique clearness of the trebles.  Notice how the instrument helps me in recreating Barrios magical last work "Una Limosna..." . Sweetness, clarity and punch are required at different times in the work and the guitar responds like the BEST. The strings fill your finger and you feel like the sound is always coming out at its maximum potential both in beauty and strength. My right hand feels extremely relaxed and the left had feels like at home....
The wood for the Back and is from Rio de Janeiro. Beautiful with some spectacular swirls in the grain. The best tap tone. Lattice construction is very versatile and it allows the player to use less strength in the RH to produce a big clear sound. The violin tie and the arrest are simply logical pluses that make the guitar work better and last A LOT longer...plus they look FANTASTIC !!
French luxury marquetry using reds, browns and beiges to combine in a unique work of art.

Radiused or flat fingerboard?

Italian Alpine spruce grows at extremely high altitudes in very cold environment. This slows the growth making the fibers tight and musically very resonant.  A beautiful range of sound with a fast response. Clear trebles and a reverberating bass that makes the whole body vibrate.

The lattice is a concept based on the A frame of grand pianos. The back and sides are kept rigid by means of a sturdy A shaped frame and the top is thinned as much as possible to allow the top to vibrate generously. As you see from the picture above, the thinned area is approximately 1.2 mm thick (VS 2-2.5 in the standard thinning techniques). Lattice delivers a lot of volume (approximately 21 dbs more) and wonderfully clear trebles

640mm or 650 mm?
Regarding 650mm or 640 mm guitar construction, keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm. Adapting from one scale to the other takes no time at all.

Radiused or flat fingerboard?
The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.  The standard fingerboard is flat.
