Aged Brazilian rosewood B&S, Double top Canadian cedar top. 640mm, radius, armrest, violin tie, soundport. AMAZING !

PHENOMENAL GUITAR ! I was looking for a few words to describe this amazing, one in a million guitar.
I used a splendid set of Brazilian rosewood. It has been air drying near Rio de Janeiro since 1918. That is when WW1 ended ! I made a double top with Nomex core using Canadian cedar and a second top to make the whole system work. The response and sustain that the double top offers are simply spectacular. Every string has a very marked personality and the mid ranges simply make every note rich and full. I used a gorgeous Russian rosette for the sound hole and luxury marquetry for the union of the single parts.
The sound is magical. In Bach Cello prelude # 1 you can appreciate the magnificent separation of voices as well as the punchy basses that help the interpreter make the melody shine even more. The counterpoint lines bring about the tremendous personality of this marvelous instrument.. What clarity and what depth !!
As Always, I used some gorgeous cuts of woods for the embellishments: The armrest, violin tie and headplate are al made with figured Brazilian rosewood and they all match the marquetry beautifully.
The action is easy, fast and above all NATURAL. 640mm has a way of making even the most elaborate passages flow majestically.
