Renato Bellucci PLAYS: "Ora Pro Nobis" Eliseo Fresquet-Serret

Eliseo is without any doubt one of the best contemporary composers. I can also say with pride that he is my friend. His music reflects his deep faith and I simply cannot get enough of Eliseo's music! Every time I think he composed his "opera prima", I am faced with a new world of music that comes form such an inspired soul. In "Ora Pro Nobis" I could hear Bach's opening chords  in the Chaconne as Eliseo proposed his opening cadenza. I immediately felt as though I was immersed in a Gothic Cathedral with Eliseo's music echoing on every piece of stone. When you think you know what direction Eliseo's melodies are taking, he surprises you by moving in the opposite direction. Simply genial. One more masterpiece by one of the greatest ever. S.D.G.
