Renato Bellucci receives the "Ambassador for Peace" Diploma by the Paraguayan Congress

It is not every day that you get nominated for such a prestigious reward as the "Ambassador For Peace" the the Paraguayan Congress. The award is expedited in conjunction with the Federation of Women for Peace. The award came unexpectedly and I must admit I feel humbled by such recognition of the Paraguayan Government. I have been a resident in Paraguay since 1975. My passion and dedication for music were met by one of the most welcoming people on Earth: The Paraguayan people. My family and I have been blessed by a generous country that has a long heritage in music and art thanks to the Jesuit reductions in the Baroque era. Paraguay is also the homeland of one oft the greatest musicians of all times: Agustin Barrios Mangoré. I was honored to share the musical moments with Paraguayan legend singer Gloria del Paraguay, Soprano Magalí Chase and Tenor Nery Chamorro. After the concert, I received a rewarding message by Dr. Lidio Enrique Castro Rodriguez, Director of Culture and organizer of the event at the Congress this morning saying: "Dear Renato, I am grateful for your participation in the event, people were stunned at our playing, while you were playing I admired their reaction. Everyone present was in awe, something practically impossible to achieve with Paraguayan audiences. Your playing is simply marvelousl !! Thank you for everything Renato. I will organize a concert with you real soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you": S.D.G.

The Certificate is Issued by "Universal Federation For Peace". I love to have as many of the members of my family near especially when I can make them so proud of being part of my family. I was able to bring 4 of our 8 children to the event: Franco, Matías, Daniela and Chiara. My son in-law Oscar and my Sister in-law Irene also attended making this a memorable event. The reasons that motivated this prestigious nomination have been the following: 40 years teaching guitar in Paraguay to countless students and literally thousands throughout Mangore.com. Positioning guitar luthery high among the competing firms throughout the world, thus generating labor to a much needed developing economy.
