ZIRICOTE is got one of the most amazing grains in the wood realm. It seems as though mother nature intervened like a painter to literally create some of the most intricate and spectacular patterns nature has to offer. The set I used for this amazing guitar is originally from Belize. Everyone in the studio cheered me as I was making my way through Asturias. They could feel the powerful sound making its way through the tempered glass that divides my studio from the workshop. What a marvelous sound. The presence and power generated by the Ziricote coupled with the double top V1 construction is simply put Amazing ! The bass seem to come out of the instrument at an amazing speed ... sustain is everlasting...the mid and high ranges are clear, with a terrific separation and lively. Asturias is taken to the next level as I play the Leyenda prelude. The fast 16th note section sounds like a myriad bells are being played simultaneously. The phrasing on the bass lead is natural and the instrument is responsive to a lever where I can do literally all I wish with the work. Swift and easy to play 640mm radiuses fingerboard sets this Limited Edition Ziricote apart from all the other guitars you may have heard to date. I had to jot down a price to post her today and I went for 2,600. Id she's not gone by tomorrow, I'll bring the price up to 3,350. Don't let her go. |

The double top VARIATION 1, was developed and introduced by Master Luthier Manuel Contreras the II at the end of the 70s and reached its peak in the 80s. In this Variation of the Double top, a second top (Cedar, Image below) is located halfway between the main top and the back. This top vibrates a fraction of a second after the first one creating an immense sustain and punch. |

Radiused or flat fingerboard? The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard. The standard fingerboard is flat. |

Its built following my specifications for the interior to fit Bellucci guitars like a glove. All Plush interior, key and accessories compartment.
