FABULOUS !!
Tasmanian
Tiger Myrtle, Australia, (Nothofagus Cunninghamii), is found in the
wet forests across the the North West of Tasmania. Providing conditions
are moist and sheltered, the tree flourishes from sea level to the tree
line. Tasmanian Myrtle is primarily golden brown and brown in color and
highly figured. Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle has black streaks running along
the grain, and is spectacular. My friend and wood supplier Bob showed me
the pictures of the amazing sets he had available and I immediately asked
him to ship them to me. He also sent me the 280 years aged Sinker redwood
I used for the lattice braced top. Both the Sinker Redwood and the Tasmanian
Myrtle are gigantic trees. Both trees can live thousands of years. Redwoods
are known to live as long as 5,000 years. Many trees still living today
have been around since the days Jesus was born. The mystic air surrounding
this amazing guitar can barely be put into words. She will fill your soul
with an amazing array of wonderful feelings. Each one of the over 360 hours
that were invested in her construction are marvelously justified. The top
resembles a Grizzly bear fur and yes, the mixture between the looks of
a Tiger on the back and sides and a bear on the top make her a truly wild
beauty.
Playing her is the next magical
experience you will have. The sound is full, mature full of the most rich
harmonics. Sustain is perfect and the clarity that the lattice bracing
brings about complements the deep bassy sound of Sinker redwood and Tasmanian
Tiger Myrtle to perfection. Listen how deep and powerful the bass booms
every time I pluck it in the Bach Prelude. The low D fills the room with
the most amazing array of harmonics and the harmonic progression is made
into a wonderful arpeggio that will make you shiver from the very beginning.
Magnificent sound !
We dedicated our highest luthery
skills in decorating this amazing Queen. Hawaiian Koa for the bindings,
Thai Amboina burl for the rosette, decorated Ebony violin tie, bridge and
center back strip. The comfortable armrest is made with Tasmanian Tiger
Myrtle just as the headplate is. I mounted Bronze precision tuners with
Rosewood buttons to match the colors on her body and finally made her as
playable as a guitar can be. I made a 16" radius to the ebony fingerboard,
cut her to a 640mm scale and the resulting action is unbeatable. Add to
this that I make the slimmest necks in the world and you will understand
why she is so easy to play.

Hi
Renato
This is the most beautiful guitar
I have ever seen. The speakers tremble every time you pluck the 6th string
in the demo video. Congratulations on a true work of art !
