Tasmanian Blackwood B&S, Bellucci/Hauser braced Cedar top Concert guitar. 640mm, 20" Radiused Ebony fingerboard, Luxury marquetry on all sides, Gold plated carved tuners. Macassar Ebony armrest and decorated bridge, double sequential soundport in the upper bout and oval shaped soundport on the Indented Cutaway. Embossed Leather case included. Absolutely Gorgeous! Tasmanian Blackwood has been one of my favorite woods for the past 14 months. I discovered the Australian Species while searching for African Blackwood. The tightness of the grain and the amazing stability of Tasmanian Blackwood make it resonate like the best tonewoods. The bass is always fabulously defined and the treble, second and third strings complement the sound majestically. The wood reflects the light in ways that are difficult to be put to words. It sends out a gorgeous metallic reflection depending on how the light hits the wood fibers. The Cedar top adds the sweetness and power typical of the Canadian species. The vast amount of overtones make Asturias and other Spanish music I played on her shine wonderfully. She's extremely responsive and both her projection and sustain are top notch.  The bindings, linings and overall trimming is 100% handmade and exclusive Bellucci luthery artwork. Her curves are enhanced by the delicate work and the player will find art and beauty wherever the eyes rest... A Masterpiece guitar to make you immensely proud. .. . . The fan brace is based on the Hauser 1943 Frame. It incorporates 4 different species of wood: Sinker redwood, Spruce, Cedar and Mahogany. The sinker Redwood is the transversal strut that shortens the trebles side to augment the power of the high registers whilst Cedar and spruce were used on the bass side to augment the power of and resonance of the bass line. I think I can affirm that she has the most powerful 6th string I have ever heard and one of the best ringing trebles you can hope for. Simply amazing. The top was reduced to less than 1 mm towards the edges and just a little over 1 mm towards the bridge area where I installed a new underbridge system that connects the bridge with each strut in the fan brace whilst directing each frequency to the right portion of the top. Radiused or flat fingerboard? The radiused fingerboard has been around the acoustic and the electric guitar since day one. The same is true for most instruments of the Stringed family of instruments (violas, violins cellos, bass). Radiusing (image above) makes barre and left hand stopping A LOT easier. The only drawback is that you will NEVER want to play a  flat fingerboard after that. If you are having your custom guitar built, I am all pro radiusing the fingerboard.  The standard fingerboard is flat. Tasmanian Blackwood, timber has a density of approximately 660 kg/m3. Very strong. may range in color from straw to grey-white with clear demarcation from the heartwood. The heartwood is golden to dark brown with chocolate growth rings. The timber is generally straight grained but may be wavy or interlocked. Black striping gives it a superb look and gets it closer to its African relative. The Warner Bros. Characters above are "the other" famous individuals from Tasmania. 650 mm or 640 mm? Keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm

PROTECTIVE GEAR These attractive hand sawn velvet guitar covers are very useful if you like to leave your instrument out of the case for long stretches of time. They are a great solution to avoid scratches during practice from the friction of buttons with the finish. To use it while playing, use it in the position shown to the right. These are hand sawn by the wife of my Leather cases embosser.

OPTIONAL ADJUSTABLE SADDLE BONE  When ordering a guitar, every player will ask me to set the action as low as possible without any buzzes... Since every player applies different amount of strenght when plucking the strings it is impossible to set the action precisely to each player's will. The Spanish builder Fleta, had come up with this genial idea which consists of pushing the bone more or less into the groove on the bridge. The player would set the action to his liking and then either cut off the excess or keep it intact in case he decided to lower or raise the action depending on humidity conditions etc. On request, I can prepare a Fleta saddle bone for an extra 80 US$.
