Hawaiian Koa has been one of my favorite woods since I first used it 7 years ago. I discovered this amazing Hawaiian Species while doing a search for tonewoods from the Pacific Islands. The tightness of the grain and the amazing stability of Koa make it resonate like the best tonewoods. Very similar to African Blackwood and Tasmanian Blackwood. The bass is always fabulously defined and the first, second and third strings complement each other to perfection. The wood reflects the light in ways that are difficult to be put to words. It sends out a gorgeous metallic reflection depending on how the light hits the wood fibers. You also have the sensation that you are staring at a German Shepherd fur. The Cedar top adds the sweetness and power typical of the Canadian species. The vast amount of overtones make the Bach Cello Prelude shine marvelously. Notice how crystalline the first string is and he bell like her sound is. She is extremely responsive and both her projection and sustain make Pernambuco Choro sound like few times before. The bindings, linings and overall... Learn more about this guitar » |

The Zebrawood model is without a doubt one of Bellucci guitars all time best instruments. The sheer beauty of the amazingly striped Zebrawood back and sides, coupled with a stunning set of Western Redcedar and adding the most exquisite mother of pearl inlay, brings to life what I consider a masterpiece of Epic proportions. Zebrawood generates a marvelous sound with well balanced deep bass and clear trebles. It is a dense wood that generates a unique set of harmonics and overtones comparable to African Walnut and African Blackwood. I could go on and on trying to convey the amazing sound she's capable to produce therefore, I invite you to view the demo video where you can see and hear me play Barrios' "Una Limosna por el amor de Dios" and Rota's "The Godfather. The tremolo is perfectly clear with the accompanying bass pedal creating the perfect harmonic sustain. Top notch sustain and projection make... Learn more about this guitar » |

Every now and then, life throws amazingly beautiful surprises. Such is the case with the beauty and sound on this spectacular Spruce top Indonesian Rosewood back and sides instrument. I simply cannot believe the power of sound that she creates, especially when you consider that she's fresh out of lacquering. Her third string is from another Galaxy! The first string sings marvelously and the 5th and 6th strings add an amazing punch and sustain to her voice. I chose to play Myers' Cavatina because the work brings in 2 very contrasting voices: a center stage melody carried mainly by the first string and an accompaniment carried by the remaining strings. The bass is powerful with a mind bobbling presence and the separation of voices as well as the sustain are fabulous ! I mentioned to my son, that this is the type of guitar that I should keep and not seller sell at an amazingly high price... but no, we will make some fortunate player tremendously happy. I am sure that the marvelous Indonesian Rosewood and the Hauser braced Alpine top contribute enormously to the sound and, as with every piece of art, it is the sum of countless details that bring about a masterpiece of such proportions. Playability is perfect. The left hand feels relaxed throughout.... Learn more about this guitar » |

Some instruments possess the virtue of making you feel as though you've always owned and played the. Whenever this happens, I know I am in the presence of a jewel guitar. Such is the case with this amazing Hauser/Bellucci braced Double top Monkeypod back and sides concert guitar. My hands felt at home from the very first chord I play on her. Producing sound is like playing with plaster. Amazingly malleable and of immediate response... it is as if the sound is springed out of the body at an amazing speed. The double top generates an extra push to the sound and I get the feeling that she has a sort of "turbo compressor" within her. Romance and Chorinho "fly" on this amazing concert guitar. The bass line sparkles and the trebles flow like water from a fountain... simply marvelous. The playability on the stylized radiused fingerboard is easy and intuitive. The action is set low at 3,6 mm at fret 12 and the neck is perfect! The interpreter can move with ease all the way down the fingerboard.
