My
involvement with the classical guitar started in Italy in 1968 and it has
taken me to study with Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes and other legendary
classical guitar players and teachers. Great craft work, low cost of labor
and a great selection of woods, have made it possible for me to come up
with a great instrument using famous guitars as models. The
instrument we are building at present is based on a 1943 Hermann Hauser
Sr. Naturally, we add our own
touches to adapt this classic to the
needs of the contemporary player. You can choose the concert guitar using
any of the following soundboard bracings: Hauser, Lattice, Double-top (Nomex®
center hollow reinforcement). All Bellucci guitars are made of solid, air
dried WOODS. A custom concert guitar with these characteristics is
sold anywhere between 6,000 to 12,000 US dollars in Europe and the US.
Bellucci concert guitars are built
using the traditional bracing, the lattice bracing and the double top with
Nomex core. |
