| Guitar
technique is the road, musicianship the wheels and talent the fuel. Classical
guitar technique is a much broader concept than merely the way in which
we perform a certain movement on the guitar. In its relatively young history,
the classical guitar has undergone great changes and some of the greatest
names in shaping it are: Francisco Tárrega, Andrés Segovia
and Abel Carlevaro. Guitar technique is a tool which must be understood
and accepted profoundly more than it has to be copied. The only guitar
technique that works for you, the guitar player, is the technique that
you have taken the time to re-examine an adapt to your peculiar characteristics
and I will help you achieve it. Special techniques, fingernail care and
a close look at the guitar school, will help me and you create our own
technique using every wise statement that the masters of the past and of
the present have elaborated. We will also learn how to discard the harmful
inheritance we were passed on so as not to pass it on to our followers.
