Coocobolo, the beautiful Mexican Species that offers some of the most striking grains among the Tonewoods available for guitar construction. It brings to mind the best tropical sunsets and it showcases some stunning tones of Red, Yellow and deep Purple going all the way into the deepest Black. I used Cocobolo for the fingerboard, the Armrest & the Bridge. The exclusive marquetry uses some of the colors of the Cocobolo along side some marvelous contrasting colors. The 52mm bone nut offers a well spaced string separation. I completed the decoration using beautiful Padauk for the Bindings, and Mahogany for the slim neck. The look and sound of this masterpiece guitar will conquer you from the very first moment that your hands meet the strings. I highly recommend this type of construction to both the concert player and the session musician. In my performance of Asturias on an almost Identical Bellucci Cedar top, you can appreciate the deep yet lively bass, the clear trebles and the superb separation of voices. It is a very beautiful and challenging wood to work since it poses challenges when worked (Especially gluing), sanded (Due to the toxic dust it produces). But it is all worth the while since the day will come when you finish the instrument and few woods finish so majestically as Cocobolo does. Both hands feel very comfortable on the instrument and the action is swift and easy. S.D.G.
The Ultralight Travel Case Ideal for Shipping (Included) is a very sturdy and extremely light case that protects the guitar very well while allowing the player to carry the instrument without adding more weight than strictly necessary. It is covered in black plush inside and has 2 pockets on the outside and an accessories compartment on the inside. 2 Straps to carry it on the back as a backpack or over the shoulder.
The Bellucci Triple Neck Reinforcement (Maple-Rosewood-Maple) adds beauty and resilience to the neck allowing us to build it slim and when coupled to the Carbon Fiber Truss rod or the Adjustable Truss Rod, it ensures a beautiful and straight neck for several generations no matter what string tension or brand you use.
The Soundport allows the modern guitar to project sound in all directions as well as providing the player a perfect monitoring of his playing. The traditional Spanish guitar did not produce as much sound as the contemporary instrument does. I recommend the Soundport to all my customers.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
The armrest prevents the forearm to interfere with the vibration of the top thus adding a few extra decibels to the instrument. Plus it looks great !
Bellucci Guitars Hauser Bracing enters the "Special" category because unlike the German Master, I use a combination of different woods for the bracing depending on the wood employed for the back and sides. Spruce, Cedar & Mahogany are the species I use most.
Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
