Michael's Amazing Beauty, Model IR-CS-1

This amazing CUSTOM African Walnut top was commissioned by guitarist Michael Lee in Hong Kong. This amazing instrument showcases a Flying (AKA Elevated) fingerboard, special Hauser bracing, onboard electronics, a swift 630mm scale along with pearl markers and a Humicase. The grain of the top resembles the skin of a gigantic prehistoric reptile. You can appreciate the tri-dimensional looking scales-like skin that displays a stunning touch to it. Indian Rosewood is extremely reliable and always delivers top notch guitars. Simply stunning !! The sound is warm and I can only start talking about the richness of her sound. This beautiful guitar allows me to express every musical phase with ease, clarity and depth. (Listen to the special demo I made for Michael in my backyard.)

The sustain and separation of voices is stunning and I can only start fantasizing about the sound she'll possess in a few months time when the sound will have broken in. As with all my guitars I indulged in making her a masterpiece of luthery selecting each piece of wood and marquetry to decorate her lines and talk of the immense love I put in each one of my creations. A truly amazing masterwork. I also want to highlight the amazing beauty of Michael's Music Room. Simply stunning. The 4-band Equalizer/Digital tuner is a highly recommendable device for those players that play using amplification for outdoors performance and recordings. The EQ has an incorporated digital tuner that I find tremendously useful and allows for fast and accurate tuning.
Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
Bellucci Guitars Hauser Bracing enters the "Special" category because unlike the German Master, I use a combination of different woods for the bracing depending on the wood employed for the back and sides. Spruce, Cedar & Mahogany are the species I use most.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
The armrest prevents the forearm to interfere with the vibration of the top thus adding a few extra decibels to the instrument. Plus it looks great !
Some Sets for either the Back and Sides, for the Top or both can be quite stunning and rare when it comes to the figure and grain that they display. It is as if nature, knowing the final destiny of its creature, "prepared" the wood in such a way that its grain, hidden to the human eye and to the world, silently develops a breathtaking beauty that comes to life when the dead tree is sawn. Getting the same identical figure is practically speaking impossible but I strive at getting figured wood that resembles and transmits the same vital impression as the one here depicted
The Soundport allows the modern guitar to project sound in all directions as well as providing the player a perfect monitoring of his playing. The traditional Spanish guitar did not produce as much sound as the contemporary instrument does. I recommend the Soundport to all my customers.
These beautiful tuners are made in bronze and are treated so as to display a vintage look to the tuning machines. These have wood buttons mounted and they add beauty and class to Bellucci Guitars
Elevated Fingerboard. The fingerboard is only attached to the top so as to guarantee structural stability and resilience to the neck. Approximately halfway between the contact point with the body and the soundhole, the fingerboard takes off and has no contact with the top of the guitar thus allowing the top to vibrate freely and produce more sound. The construction technique of the Bellucci elevated fingerboard took a couple of years to perfect and is now one of the best Custom features of Bellucci guitars.
This is a fabulous touch to have mounted on the back of the headstock of your custom Bellucci guitar whether it is is for yourself or if it is a present for a loved one. The plaque is made in 18Kt Gold and is engraved by hand.
