Indonesian Rosewood back, sides & top, Stradivarius Model
“Stradivarius Model”, IR-BST-1
Stunning is perhaps the best adjective to describe this all Rosewood Masterpiece we built to inaugurate a glorious 2015 that promises to bring to life some of Bellucci guitars all time most amazing creations.
I embarked at gathering a set of Indonesian Rosewood for the back and sides with some fabulous striping and an equally beautiful set of Indonesian Rosewood for the main top and Spruce for the second top. The striping and color tones of every panel of wood is perfect. Nature shows off her artistry and you can spend long stretches of time admiring her countless details. You have the impression of contemplating the most dramatic tropical sunset every time your eyes meet the beauty of the grain. Once I was able to match the marquetry and every part of the construction so as to have an eye candy worthy of admiration, we started building this amazing Queen. As the work progressed the anticipation grew to the point that the past few weeks I could barely wait for one more day until this morning when she finally came out of the lacquering booth... She is a true masterpiece! Everything about her is perfect. Her lines, the marquetry, the playability and the sound... Everything! The trebles are clear and penetrating and perfectly separated and sustained thanks to the second Spruce top. The Spruce top starts vibrating a fraction of a second after the main Rosewood top and the sustain and clarity generated are simply marvelous. As you play on the fingerboard you feel as though she accompanies every move of your hands and fingers. She's very easy to play thanks to the slim neck and the cutaway. I feel blessed for being able to work with such a marvelous material as wood. I give thanks to God for helping me to create beauty too this world. This instrument is a testament to everything I believe in.
She carries the special "Limited Edition" Bellucci Label with the 1/3 writing next to her serial number to indicate that I will only build 3 units of this particular model. She belongs to the ages. S.D.G.
The Bellucci Limited Edition logo and label will be assigned to guitars I
build using extremely rare and amazingly figured woods in the
construction for both the back and sides and/or the top. These sets are
selected among hundreds of sets and their price is significantly higher
that the standard figured counterparts. 7 of the world best "wood
hunters" all the way from South East Asia, Oceania, Africa and the
Americas are constantly on the lookout to provide me with some amazing
sets for the Limited Edition series.
Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
The traditional cutaway is both very beautiful and extremely useful. It
requires the highest level of luthery to be made and when it comes to
playability, it allows the player to access the F# on fret 14 with
amazing ease thus covering the 14 most used frets in the classical
The Ultralight Travel Case Ideal for Shipping (Included) is a very sturdy and extremely light case that protects the guitar very well while allowing the player to carry the instrument without adding more weight than strictly necessary. It is covered in black plush inside and has 2 pockets on the outside and an accessories compartment on the inside. 2 Straps to carry it on the back as a backpack or over the shoulder.
F-Holes were first introduced in the guitar world on acoustic and electro/acoustic guitars, especially arch top guitars. There are even pictures of Elvis playing an acoustic guitar with 2 F-Holes. The origin of the F Hole is the violin. Besides looking spectacular on the face of the guitar, thy allow for a better projection of sound. Depending on whether the player likes a clearer or darker wound, a slight variation in the sound will be achieved and this will come in handy in order to accommodate the construction to custom guitar orders.
The 9-braces Hauser fan is the result of many years of experimenting. It is based on Torres 4 fan brace design which was later developed by the German luthier Hermann Hauser. The braces act as sound vibrations highways. They carry the vibration of each string to a specific spot on the soundboard. The variations on the 9 braces fan is enormous. The Luthier taylors each fan to achieve a specific sound and match the instrument with the rest of the woods used in the construction. I often use a mixture of Cedar, Spruce and Mahogany to achieve the best separation of voices. When I add the extra transversal strut in the Rodriguez style, it enhances the sound of treble string enormously.
The Bellucci Triple Neck Reinforcement (Maple-Rosewood-Maple) adds beauty and resilience to the neck allowing us to build it slim and when coupled to the Carbon Fiber Truss rod or the Adjustable Truss Rod, it ensures a beautiful and straight neck for several generations no matter what string tension or brand you use.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
The Stradivarius Bellucci guitar Model is a Homage to one who is considered the greatest luthier of all times: the Cremonean, Italy, violin maker Antonio Stradivari. The Bellucci Stradivarius Model carries the violin F type soundless and a vast array of innovative features in classical guitar construction. Playability and Beautyare taken to the next level.Masterpiece guitars
These beautiful tuners are made in bronze and are treated so as to display a vintage look to the tuning machines. These have wood buttons mounted and they add beauty and class to Bellucci Guitars
Bellucci Guitars Hauser Bracing enters the "Special" category because unlike the German Master, I use a combination of different woods for the bracing depending on the wood employed for the back and sides. Spruce, Cedar & Mahogany are the species I use most.
Some Sets for either the Back and Sides, for the Top or both can be quite stunning and rare when it comes to the figure and grain that they display. It is as if nature, knowing the final destiny of its creature, "prepared" the wood in such a way that its grain, hidden to the human eye and to the world, silently develops a breathtaking beauty that comes to life when the dead tree is sawn. Getting the same identical figure is practically speaking impossible but I strive at getting figured wood that resembles and transmits the same vital impression as the one here depicted
