New Masterclass, "A Time for Us" from Romeo & Juliet

Renato Bellucci teaches Nino Rota's 1968 classic from Romeo & Juliet "A Time for Us". I saw the Franco Zeffirelli movie in 1968 and it was the first time I felt " I was falling in love". Juliet beauty totally enamored me and the Romantic/Dramatic story of Romeo and Juliet totally broke my heart. Nino Rota was the great name in Soundtrack Composing in the late 60s and such masterpieces as "The Godfather" are the creation of this great Italian Composer. The melody in Romeo and Juliet is one of the best known film melodies of all time. The transcription I offer here fits the guitar to perfection showing that few instruments have the power to preserve the spirit of a piece as the guitar does when it comes to transcriptions. Transcriptions have always been at the basis and are in a way the birthplace of the  classical guitar and they will always be a key component in the future of our beloved instrument.   Visit the Masterclass
