100th Masterclass: "Glory of Love", Peter Cetera

When I  first started mangore.com in 1997 and the internet was practically speaking in its infancy, people would laugh when I told them I would teach guitar worldwide through the internet. Today I am posting the 100dth masterclass and I take the opportunity to thank God for the constant inspiration and for having blessed the endeavor with thousands of enrolled students the world over. Each upload is a labor of love. Each staff is crafted by hand and fingered meticulously. Each video is my stretch to make the gap between playing and learning as narrow as possible. A labor of love made up of literally thousands of minute perfect detailed for the Glory of God. The work is beautiful and whenever the guitar player knows that he can exploit the wonderful tuning of D he knows he is in for some great guitar music where the guitar is able to blossom majestically. Such is the case with Glory of Love. A wonderful hymn that Peter Cetera wrote for the blockbuster movie "The Karate Kid 2". The main challenge is to keep the piano impression alive and you can achieve it using block chords using fingers a-m-i in conjunction, as a whole and moving them from the main knuckle where the fingers meet the hand. Visit the Masterclass.
