NINO ROTA: "The Godfather" 1972

The Godfather by the Italian composer Nino Rota, is one of the best known 20th Century pieces of all time. It is also the best known movie soundtrack of all times. I made this solo guitar transcription in the 1970's and it works marvelously on the guitar. The piece is easy going and exploits several guitar techniques: guitar arpeggios, double stops, arpeggiated chords and bringing out notes in chords. Enjoy it!
