I indulged in a fabulous Set of Highly Figured Coocobolo. The
Mexican Species offers some of the most striking grains among the
Tonewoods available for guitar construction. It brings to mind some of
the best tropical sunsets and it showcases some stunning tones of red,
yellow and deep purple going all the way into the deepest black. I used
Cocobolo for the fingerboard, the Armrest, the Bridge & The violin
tie. The exclusive marquetry uses some of the colors of the Cocobolo
along side some marvelous contrasting tones. The 52mm bone
nut offers a well spaced string separation. I completed the decoration
using beautiful curly Mahogany and also used Mahogany for the slim neck.
The look and sound of this masterpiece guitar will conquer you from the
very first moment that your hands meet the strings. I highly recommend
this type of construction to both the concert player and the session
musician. Look how beautifully the complementing Cocobolo Fingerboard, the Cocobolo Armrest, Bridge & Violin Tie define her design contrasting marvelously with the curly Walnut bindings. 6 different species of woods were used to make the exclusive marquetry on this one in a million concert guitar.
