Jeroen commissioned his second Bellucci Concert Guitar from France earlier in 2021. This is a trulyStunning instrument. It is perhaps the best adjective to describe this Madagascar Rosewood Masterpiece we built throughout October & November 2021. I embarked at gathering a set of Madagascar Rosewood for the back and sides with some fabulous striping and an equally beautiful set of Spanish Cedar for the main top and Spruce for the second top (Doubletop). The striping and color tones of every panel of wood is perfect. Nature shows off her artistry and you can spend long stretches of time admiring her countless details. Your eyes encounter drama every time they run across the spectacular grain. Once I matched the marquetry and every part of the construction so as to have an eye candy worthy of admiration, I started building this amazing Queen. As the work progressed the anticipation grew to the point that the past few weeks I could barely wait for one more day until this morning when she finally came out of the lacquering booth... She is a true masterpiece! Everything about her is perfect. Her lines, the marquetry, the ease of playability thanks in part to teh Anatomical, sloped armrest and the beautiful, open sound. She has it all! The trebles are clear and penetrating and perfectly. The Spanish Cedar top has a tremendous punch and a truly beautiful sound. As I play on the fingerboard I feel as though she accompanies every move of your hands and fingers. She's very easy to play thanks to the slim neck and the indented cutaway. I feel blessed for being able to work with such a marvelous material as wood. I give thanks to God for helping me to create beauty to this world. This instrument is a testament to everything I believe in. Asuncion, December 9th, 2021, S.D.G.
I find wood buttons to be extremely beautiful. They add sobriety and elegance to the headstock
These beautiful tuners are made in bronze and are treated so as to display a vintage look to the tuning machines. These have wood buttons mounted and they add beauty and class to Bellucci Guitars
The Anatomical Armrest is perhaps the best idea I've come up with in 2019. The armrest does not pose any pressure on the forearm tendons and muscles avoiding any type of numbing of the playing apparatus during long practice sessions. As guitar players age, the distance to the tendons is shorter and the pressure of the angled upper bout can be quite a handicap. Highly Recommended !
The Ultralight Travel Case Ideal for Shipping (Included) is a very sturdy and extremely light case that protects the guitar very well while allowing the player to carry the instrument without adding more weight than strictly necessary. It is covered in black plush inside and has 2 pockets on the outside and an accessories compartment on the inside. 2 Straps to carry it on the back as a backpack or over the shoulder.
Waverly Tuners are in my opinion the most beautiful tuners available for classical guitar. The level of detail and beauty adds beauty to what is already beautiful. The wood knobs are made in Snakewood. Expensive but worth every buck.
Bellucci Classical Guitars are the only Custom Guitars on the planet that carry Fiber Optic position Markers. They are tremendously useful especially for those players that perform in the evening or in dim lighting conditions.
The Double Neck reinforcement consists in a converging set of Ebony reinforcements that run parallel to the length of the neck. They offer both aesthetical beauty and structural sturdiness to the neck.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
The Lute type sound hole is not merely an aesthetically element of guitar construction but also closely related with sound production and acoustics in general. The lute type sound hole forces the air inside the guitar to excite the surrounding woods longer than the conventional sound hole, thus generating an overall fuller and more powerful sound.
Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
The Double top is an extremely powerful system to augment sustain and eliminate wolf notes. It consists of a second top (normally Cedar, Spruce or Sinker Redwood) that runs parallel to the first one halfway between the top and the back. It is the internal body construction system that better seems to show what one would expect a double top to look like. The 2 tops are connected through the sides and the transversal struts and the resulting sound is full and very powerful.
The indented cutaway is both very beautiful and extremely useful. It requires the highest level of luthery to be made and when it comes to playability, it allows the player to access the F# on fret 14 with amazing ease thus covering the 14 most used frets in the classical guitar.
