Ambrosia Maple B&S, Cedar top

This is the third time I use this Spectacular wood. Model: AM-C-2

Ambrosia Maple is essentially a regular Maple tree that has been co-living with a liken called "Ambrosia" that is responsible for the blue, turquoise and beige coloration of the grain. The liken is transported by a small beetle. It is quite stunning and shows nature marvelous way of making art. I was able to get a hold of a few sets and store it because it is quite rare to come by. It is the only wood that can offer a turquoise/blue coloration and it is because of the collaboration of this unique liken. The sonorous qualities of the wood are identical to standard Maple: Strong, well defined bass and clear trebles. The guitar has enough power and brilliance that would shine majestically in a Flamenco player hands as well. When coupled with Cedar you get the vast palette of sweet, velvet colored tones typical of the Canadian species. The main melody in Romance is carried marvelously and her lyrical qualities are undeniable. Asturias sounds marvelous and the bass is expressive and marvelously rounded and deep. The mid and high ranges bring light to the musical phrasing and the interpreter feels how malleable the sound of this Ambrosia Maple is. The decoration was done in accordance with every other wood that brings this masterpiece to life. The splendid handmade marquetry bring out her gorgeous lines and will make you stand in awe admiring her stunning beauty.
