Maple B&S, Port Orford top

I fell in love with Port Orford when I first used it a few years ago and among its amazing characteristics, the one that totally enamored me is the amazing aroma and fragrance that the species emanates. It literally submerses you in a deep pine forest and you feel so welcome in it that you want to call it “ home". My Oregon Wild wood supplier carries some amazing sets and I knew I had to buy them when I came across them. I had to build a Maple/Port Orford guitar and I knew that the time had finally come to make this dream into a reality. Boy am I happy I did!? The guitar could not have been a more spectacular one. The beauty and the creative possibilities that she inspired from the very first moment we envisioned her have transformed in a resonant beauty, one with character distinguished by a deep bass accompanied by he most perfect trebles. She’s responsive and amazingly easy to play. Naturally, the extra value she has to offer is the miraculous perfume that comes out of the sound hole. She speaks to all my senses and she will be the dream come true of one blessed guiar player.
