Quilted Maple back, sides and top, Stradivarius Model
“Stradivarius Model” QT-ST-1
Cremona produced the greatest Violin maker of all time, Antonio Stradivari and I cannot think of another name when the word "Violin" comes to mind. It was therefore the name to use when I decided for this particular Bellucci Model inspired of course in the legendary Italian violin maker from Cremona. I always thought that the guiar left out some of the great features of her best relative, the violin and for all the wrong reasons. Among these I rescue the elevated fingerboard, the radiused fingerboard, the violin tie and of course, the F-holes. I even went the extra mile on one occasion and implemented the alm only I left this out to be used only when the sound would in fact be enhanced.
I included a few extras like the double top and the 4-band equalizer pickup/tuner. I must add that I consider these excellent choices if they fit your budget because they make the instrument amazingly versatile and take care of wolf notes completely. The beauty of the Stradivarius model speaks for itself. Maple is without a doubt one of the best woods on the planet. Incredibly tough and sonorous. When it comes to looks, it offers some amazing figuring and the resulting instrument always speaks of purity and immaculateness. The sound she produces is perfectly balanced with a beautiful bell like quality to the trebles and a subtle yet magical sustain in the bass. Both Cavatina and Romance shine when I play them on this Stradivarius beauty and the ease of play she offers is every guitar player dream come true.
This beauty is one of Bellucci guitars all time most spectacular guitars. S.D.G.
F-Holes were first introduced in the guitar world on acoustic and electro/acoustic guitars, especially arch top guitars. There are even pictures of Elvis playing an acoustic guitar with 2 F-Holes. The origin of the F Hole is the violin. Besides looking spectacular on the face of the guitar, thy allow for a better projection of sound. Depending on whether the player likes a clearer or darker wound, a slight variation in the sound will be achieved and this will come in handy in order to accommodate the construction to custom guitar orders.
Bellucci guitars are decorated using marvelous wood marquetry to enhance all her lines and put an accent on specific parts of the construction. The marquetry requires anywhere between 35 & 90 hours of highly skilled labor to be inlayed throughout the guitar. It is made entirely by hand using knives that each luthier typically manufactures himself. It takes the guitar to unsuspected levels of beauty. The marquetry also constitutes an often critical point of release of tension which is caused by the constant expanding and contracting of the woods used in guitar construction. These are due to such factors such as humidity and ambience temperature.
The Ultralight Travel Case is a very sturdy and extremely light case that protects the guitar very well while allowing the player to carry the instrument without adding more weight than strictly necessary. It is covered in black plush inside and has 2 pockets on the outside and an accessories compartment on the inside. 2 Straps to carry it on the back as a backpack or over the shoulder.
The 9-braces Hauser fan is the result of many years of experimenting. It is based on Torres 4 fan brace design which was later developed by the German luthier Hermann Hauser. The braces act as sound vibrations highways. They carry the vibration of each string to a specific spot on the soundboard. The variations on the 9 braces fan is enormous. The Luthier taylors each fan to achieve a specific sound and match the instrument with the rest of the woods used in the construction. I often use a mixture of Cedar, Spruce and Mahogany to achieve the best separation of voices. When I add the extra transversal strut in the Rodriguez style, it enhances the sound of treble string enormously.
Carbon Fiber is stronger than an equivalent volume of steel. The Carbon fiber truss rod prevents neck twisting and/or bending due to the excessive tension that many modern brands of strings bring about. It adds practically no weight to the construction and will keep your neck straight for ages.
The Bellucci Triple Neck Reinforcement (Maple-Rosewood-Maple) adds beauty and resilience to the neck allowing us to build it slim and when coupled to the Carbon Fiber Truss rod or the Adjustable Truss Rod, it ensures a beautiful and straight neck for several generations no matter what string tension or brand you use.
The indented cutaway is both very beautiful and extremely useful. It requires the highest level of luthery to be made and when it comes to playability, it allows the player to access the F# on fret 14 with amazing ease thus covering the 14 most used frets in the classical guitar.
The Stradivarius Bellucci guitar Model is a Homage to one who is considered the greatest luthier of all times: the Cremonean, Italy, violin maker Antonio Stradivari. The Bellucci Stradivarius Model carries the violin F type soundless and a vast array of innovative features in classical guitar construction. Playability and Beautyare taken to the next level.Masterpiece guitars
These beautiful tuners are made in bronze and are treated so as to display a vintage look to the tuning machines. These have wood buttons mounted and they add beauty and class to Bellucci Guitars
Bellucci Guitars Hauser Bracing enters the "Special" category because unlike the German Master, I use a combination of different woods for the bracing depending on the wood employed for the back and sides. Spruce, Cedar & Mahogany are the species I use most.
Some Sets for either the Back and Sides, for the Top or both can be quite stunning and rare when it comes to the figure and grain that they display. It is as if nature, knowing the final destiny of its creature, "prepared" the wood in such a way that its grain, hidden to the human eye and to the world, silently develops a breathtaking beauty that comes to life when the dead tree is sawn. Getting the same identical figure is practically speaking impossible but I strive at getting figured wood that resembles and transmits the same vital impression as the one here depicted
