Torroba's suite for guitar "Castles of Spain" is perhaps the best fitting suite for guitar ever written. The instrument is never forced beyond its natural boundaries and the passages that the Spanish master puts together find their way to the deepest corners of a man's soul. I had the Segovia recording "Castles of Spain" as a kid and young guitarist. I used to go to bed and sleep to the music of the LP... When my friend Gary asked me if I was willing to make  a masterclass of this work, I simply had to say YES, OF COURSE !! 
The guitarist can work several key points of guitar technique through this masterpiece and offer some of the best guitar music to the audience.
The masterclass begins this week.

Analysis: The piece has become a classic thanks to Andres Segovia and the performer is drawn to incorporate some of the Spanish Master touch to the interpretation...like a small tenuto on the D in measure 2 ...
